Fiona is 2!

** Fiona's Birthday is February 1st... I went into labor this time 2 years ago...**

Sweet Fiona,

You're 2.

You are a miracle and a treasure.

 I can't wait to see all that God does in and through you as you continue to grow.

I am praying that you will truly believe how loved you are. As I hear your delicate voice singing "Jesus Loves Me" I often ask God to move all those words that are already in your mind deep into your soul.  

Your short precious life has been a catalyst to so many big faith steps for your dad and I. 

I have a mixture of feelings about today.  I'm excited to keep watching you grow.  I'm so proud to be your mom. A little bit of sadness is seeping into the happy feelings as I reflect on how fast time has flown and the fact that you might be our last baby. (Your next sibling God brings to us may not be a baby...)

Whatever the future holds, know this. God is so good, so great, so glorious, and so gracious.  He loves you with a never-ending, never-giving up, always and forever love. He has shown me more and more of that amazing love with your life.  I'm so grateful.
